Re: Where's Heroes gone wrong?
It was ok. For me, it reminded me of a rollercoaster. But I know loads of fans didn't like the constant twists and character changing, and some gave up on Heroes then

After Fugitives? Idk why then. Unless maybe they hated the idea of Sylathan or they'd miss Nathan that much

Re: Where's Heroes gone wrong?
I have a theory.
1) People saw and loved heroes.
2) S2 came and a lot of people left.
3) Heroes got better but the people couldn't come back because they'd missed S2 and you can't just jump halfway into heroes, you'll just be confused.
Hence what I think is the problem with heroes.

But do you think you could have jumped in in S3 or worse S4?

Re: Where's Heroes gone wrong?
Villains may have seemed less strange like that I wouldn't have known how out of character some people were.
Fugitives They were sort of trying to give it a restart feel. The same, a bit, with Redemption

Re: Where's Heroes gone wrong?
Everyone I have ever talked to who has tried to jump in has gotten completely confuzzled. I have even talked to people who have heard about it, checked it out and got freaked out. I talked to a girl who did just that and all she said she could remember was some women crying black tears at a wedding and everyone dying. She was weirded out. In the commentary in the Claire getting Sylared scene Tim Kring commented that they had 'earned the right to do it because if they had done it in the first ep the audience would have been freaked out.'

To be honest if the Claire Sylared scene was the first I'd have ever scene I'd have switched over too. I would have seen it as psychopathic. Which it is, but I'm used to it now.
