could someone without IA still take abilities from a persons brain?

well i think they could cause you just need to find the right bit of the brain and once you've found it thats it

No, you'd need to use IA to examine that brain and see how the ability works. Plus I think IA would be needed to apply what you learn to yourself

Like, you'd need IA. A normal person couldn't just look at the right part of the brain and immediately understand the ability. And even if Sylar explained to someone, I doubt that person would then get the ability

oh. sylar had to do extra studies to see how the brain works. in s1 when mohinder and eden broke in his apartment he had loads of books of brains etc. he had to do his studying

I actually wanted to find that book. If we do a brain disection, I won't skip. Cos I'll get to pretend it's Claire's brain and that I'm being sylar the whole time! XD

i wouldn't mind doing one, but it will be hard and the risk of killing someone. also the skin on the face sort of freaks me out. ive seen it down, its like peeling an orange.
