Help?

I am a newbie her, hello everybody! I have a little problem. i want to start roleplaying, but I don´t know in which world or what have happened in the worlds. Where is a godd place to start and what have happened there? Help?

Hello Erm.. Well, each world's a little bit different.

In World 1, it's starting the Brave New World SL, that Heroes never really got to do
World 2 has no real set SL, but basically, people have married off a lot of the canons
World 3 was an alternate ending to Season 1, where the bomb went off, but they changed it back, so it's not really got an SL, anymore. Everyone seems to be against Primatech
World 4 is vampires and werewolves, and like, our coven owns the world
World 5 is the exposed future, where everyone knows about the abilities, and the formulas for sale, and everyone is against Pinehearst
World 6 is just a world in its own right, with no real SL, most of the characters are all members of the same family
World 7 just got changed into a new Torchwood world
World 8 is also a Brave New World SL, where everyone knows about abilities
And World 9 you can be any kind of mythical creature, and it's main SL is the evil overlord trying to take over the world
And finally, World 10 is a school for special people, whether EH or any species etc

I'll try to summarise some of them for you:

World 1 is the one which matches most closely to canon, since we hardly ever affect it or interact with the characters. Each character has one ability, unless they're one of the few who have been allowed to have a multi ability. Abilities have only just been revealed to the world, similar to what happened at the end of BNW in canon.

World 2 is the world where canon is pretty much completely ignored. The majority of the characters have 3 abilities here, unless again you've gotten permission to be a multi. There's an Organisation, which basically works as the company should have.

World 3 has 4 abilities each, unless you're a multi. It was originally set in the 5YG timeline, but the characters have recently rewound time, so now it's similar to the beginning of S2. A few of them have decided to try to fight Primatech.

World 4 is vampires and werecreatures. Some of these have one extra ability, too. Most of our characters belong to one pack and one coven - or their Guard - and they rule over all the others in the world.

World 5 is set in the future of Volume 3, building up to I Am Become Death. 1 ability only. About a year has passed by now, the formula's out and being sold, and several characters are trying to stop Pinehearst.

World 6 is a family of EHs, where you basically make up any story. Again, 1 ability each.

World 7 has just started as a Torchwood world, with bases in Cardiff, London, Glasgow and Belfast.

I forgot about the abilities

World 8 is currently in a BNW situation, and soon Pinehearst are going to try to release the formula, which will lead to disaster and a villainous group stealing it and using their abilities to end the world. Previously, it was the virus' release and then EHs being hunted.

World 9 is anything mythical or fantasy based. There's going to be an evil overlord trying to take over soon. He's began his plan, but no one really knows of it.

World 10 is set in a school for EHs and other people who aren't human. A group of people attacked the school recently and they're in the middle of trying to fight them off.

You did better than I did

That was a lot of information, which ones should you recommend to start with? Like whcih is the one that is smartest to warm up with?

I don't know What are you looking for? If you want to do some Heroes RPing, then I'd say one of the first three?

World 1 if you'd rather stick closely to canon, World 2, 3 or 8 if you'd rather be more imaginative, I'd say.

i would say world 1 to start off with, world 2 is generally goes fast but world 1 goes at a nice pace.

Maybe someone should make a thread about this because someone in the future's bound to ask the same question. Everyone does when they start rping here, just like I did.

There is a section in the RP bit which explains all of this. It needs updating, but I'm in the middle of doing that myself.
