Re: Avengers Assemble
I can't think I just love all of it! It's just impossible not to love it - unless you're my mum, at which point "it's stupid and has no plot line" But was playing on her phone the whole time and whenever she did watch it was like "which one is he? the pretty blonde one?" THERE ARE LOTS OF PRETTY BLONDE PEOPLE.

Re: Avengers Assemble
IT'S SUCH A BEAUTIFUL CREATION! :3 I genuinely couldn't decide who my favourite was - the Hulk was awesome, Iron Man is the Lord and Saviour, Captain America is adorable, Thor is just Godly, Black Widow is fit as hell (I don't care if she's a girl, it's true shit), Hawkeye is fucking cool as and Loki is my hero!

Re: Avengers Assemble
Thor didn't need to do much, he still fucked shit up! Captain America, I agree, but he was still adorable, because he was just so cute and he like tucked his shirt in and I don't know, I just want to love him Hawkeye was evil for half the movie, he did loads!

Re: Avengers Assemble
So true! I've always loved the Iron Man films and Thor was actually awesome, but the Captain America film wasn't very good For one, Chris Evans looked so fucking edited when he was skinny it was HILARIOUS. But this film was just so AMAZING!

Re: Avengers Assemble
It is amazing Got to 1 billion in it's first 19 days
The Captain America one was pretty awful But it's still got another one, like Thor and Iron Man's got a third :3
Also, Tom Hiddleston's signed up to be on 5 more Marvel films = life complete

Re: Avengers Assemble
Was I the only person who found this film disappointing?
I understand how successful it was and all, but personally I left the cinema sad at how bad I found it.
The only highlight of the film was Robert Downey Jr. As always

Re: Avengers Assemble
Definately the best movie in years this was the one Marvel film I was painfully waiting for ever since Blade I was praying for an avengers film and it was F*CKING AWESOME anyway my character review is as follows:
Iron Man: as awesome as ever good amount of screen time and just total badass as expected.
Hulk: thank you thank you thank you thank you Marvel for doing a good job with Hulk Mark Ruffalo fantastic choice and great use of humour.
Captain America: Good although I've never been Cap's biggest fan as compared to the others he's just a guy on steroids but he does have a certain degree of humanity that he brings to the team.
Hawkeye: Surprisingly well done cos this character could have been done well or really bad there was no middle ground well done Mr Renner.
Black Widow: Hot as Hell as usual Miss Johansson great job
Thor: Superbly acted but not enough screen time although great fight with Hulk.
Nick Fury: Well he certainly was sick of these Goddamn aliens on this Goddamn planet bringing all the espected characteristics of Fury to the big screen hats off to Mr Jackson.
Loki: Could you get a better villain for the Avengers a perfect evolution of the character from Thor with the infamous maniacal smile in the first scene.
Finally thanks to Marvel for being awesome, the actors well for acting well and to Joss Whedom for a superb story and brilliant direction especially bringing Thanos in during the post credit scene cannot wait for number 2

Re: Avengers Assemble
I AGREE WITH ALL OF THE ABOVE. Pretty much, anyway Brilliant fucking film, brilliantly acted and directed and written and the special effects and everything it makes me giggle just thinking about it And I got the DVD so I can just watch it again and again!
The Hulk was so well done, I was really impressed and I kinda agree with the captain america thing, he was alright in this film, but I still don't see the point in him - they used this great medical advancement to make him really fit and stuff for propaganda, but couldn't they have just got a really fit guy to do that without the science stuff? I don't know, he's alright, I'm hoping his second film will have less irritating British accents.

Re: Avengers Assemble
Thanos has been officially confirmed to be the villain in Avengers two we all knew that anyway but its nice to have things confirmed. Pip have you seen the other post credit scene on the DVD which wasn't in the movie version? Avengers Assemble/The Avengers (whichever you prefer to call it) is the third highest grossing film of all time which is pretty spectacular. The reason cap is in the team is he is the leader he has a military background and he is the biggest patriot ever he will defend his country and his team to his dying breath he will never surrender to any adversary and would rather die fighting for a cause than allowing his home to fall into anothers hands a characteristic he has had since the second world war and before as he explained in the film Captain America: The First Avenger he doesn't like bullies. Aside from this his superpower is strength he is much stronger and more agile than your typical elite soldier in fact the serum that transformed Steve Rodgers into Cap is what Bruce Banner was experimenting with when he was first transformed into the Hulk and in conclusion can I get a Halle-freakin-lujah over the fact Mr Robert Downey Jnr as Tony Stark was wearing a Black Sabbath T-Shirt

Re: Avengers Assemble
Yeah, I know Can't wait, but it's like three fucking years until the next one I've seen most of them, yeah I need to watch them all again though. My favourite was the alternate-ish ending one, with Maria Hill doing the voiceover at the end instead that was brilliant. Don't know whether I prefer it to the Nick Fury one, but it was a great voiceover and it made her character bigger in a way which I liked
I know why Cap is in the team and I'm not arguing about any of that, it was just that his original purpose after the lab was destroyed was propaganda and it didn't make much sense to have done all the medical advancements to get there when you could have just found a really muscular guy and got him to do it instead
OMFG! That was literally so amazing, I went to see it with a friend and he leant over when Tony walked on screen and practically shouted "LOOK, HE'S WEARING A BLACK SABBATH T-SHIRT, THAT'S SO FUCKING COOL!"
