Would you class an ability to sense the inevitable future, i.e. people's fate, as different from any existing precognitive ability?

i personally think that fate/destiny is different, as precognition just means prior knowledge whereas fate will mean what the person will do

Yeah, fate sounds more planned, in a way. I was mainly just asking because some of our precogs' visions and foreknowledge have seemed to be inevitable, or at least inevitable with loopholes. Like Dani's instincts are.
