The Original Nine Royal Families were as follows:
- House Diago - Their family ability was that of Conscious Mimicry, allowing each member to mimic five powers from other families or from the Chosens.
- House Ozera - They have the ability of Human Manipulation, allowing them control over the human body. They would also have a very limited control over the Chosen and any half-Royals.
- House Taratheon - Gifted with the ability of Telepathy, they are capable of reading and manipulating the minds of those surrounding them.
- House Devereux - Their family ability was Ability Manipulation, meaning each family member could control the abilities of others, weakening or strengthening them.
