What exactly is the difference between the 2 abilities? They both draw objects, and sometimes people too, to oneself, making the object disappear from its original location and reappear in one's hands.

well for me, apportation would be teleporting an object to and from a place. And i would have thought (although it is said differently on the wiki) that summoning would be drawing something to onself (like telekinetically), similar to with Thor and his hammer.
but the difference on the wiki is that apportation is to teleport things to one place and another but summoning teleports thing to you and not to other places.
