Fanfic/Storyboard Group

Just an idea. Could we make a story readers/writers group, so it's easier to send reminders to people when new chapters etc. are posted? Anyone think this is a good idea? Tell me what you think. Cheers.

yh i think its a good idea, we do have a roleplayers group so why not a story book group

Probably not that, as it makes it seem specific to writers. If you can't think of anything else, I'd just use Storyreaders or Storylovers or something.

The only reason I wanted you to make it was so that I, and other writers, could send PMs to the whole group telling them that a new chapter is out. And it turns out that you can't even do that! Grrr! That was totally pointless then, I guess.
What are the groups for then? Is there any point in them at all?

I've done it, tis OK. In the group editting, it says someting about PMs. then the options are:
Members
Usergroups
Moderators
Admins

It was always on Admins, but not anymore... Usergroups.

Anyway, just thought I would urge anyone who reads miniseries, FFs or just stories in General to join this usergroup, as then writers can just send PMs to the group everytime a new chapter is out. Good idea?
