In W8, would the virus eventually mutate again so that the regen blood + antibodies would no longer be a cure? Because in Out Of Time, the Homeland Security guy said there was no known cure.

Possibly. But then you'd risk being infected yourself and losing the ability. Also extensive healing fatigues the healer.
