The episode was about family, and Alice just represented [I don't know how to explain] That you shouldn't take your family for granted. Also Its the mysteriousness of it, It has an effect, I would like to see her again, but if we don't it was stil good what we saw, It also makes us wonder, thats what keeps veiwers, stuff like that
