i just finished this one:
Killing me Softly by Nicci French.
When i first started reading i expected a gruesome book, with adventure, thrill and murder. I got the murder and not the rest.
I felt the book was highly unrealistic and largely anti climactic!
It started with a Woman ecplaning how she loved life with her boyfriend. Then on the way to work she shares a moment with a bloke she doesnt know. Goes to work, sees the same bloke on the way and runs off to a hotel with him and sleeps with him. Starts and affair, leaves her boyfriend and marries this new Bloke Adam. She starts to discover bad things in his past, and that as a couple they are being stalked. She uncoveres that he is a murder. Finds evidence, makes a will and stashes it with her friend. The friend shows it to Adam, and while she is at the Police station, Adam turns up with a doctor to section her. As she convinces the police she isnt mad, she takes them to one of the graves. She is proved right (which leaves her terrified she will be the next victim) and when she gets home, Adam has hung his-self. And that was it, the book ended.
I was like WTF where has the rest gone, i was so disappointed!
