(Ok, ok, we're all pissed off. But all we can do is start off again)
She raised her head, wiped the painful tears - which were still falling - away. There had to be a way.....there had to......some way to hide it.,.....
The realisation struck her like lightning. What she had to do. She swiftly created a mental barrier which would both block telepathy at need, and would create an illusion of normal thoughts so her twin would have no idea. Then she grimly returned to composing herself.

Jason and Dani sat on the roof, hand in hand, watching the stars cheesily. He turned to look at her, distracting her as well, as she turned to face him, and he stared deeply into her eyes.

Tannith sighed, forcing herself to regain her feet, go back downstairs and test out her barrier. Her heart was hammering as she pushed open the drawing room door and re-entered.
What did Ariana need? Lleucu asked.
