Future RP world ideas

Kk. I just thought you'd paused for a while, that's all. And speaking of needing to think things through, why do I have a SL in W9 which can't happen for about a decade and can't be skipped ahead or time travelled through, but I haven't yet worked out the stuff which leads to it?

Should I change the world? What could it be called?

How do you make partners for grandkids who'll never be born? How does that work? Do the new 4 have ones, firstly?

Something like Timeslip to reflect the time travel going in? And would that mean that characters would have older doubles?

That was kinda how I understood it - people's future versions come to the past to fix history.

I guess, or an outline anyway It'd be bad obviously. I was thinking something like in S1 with them being persecuted and having their rights removed? Maybe a disaster? The fanfics I've been following recently are making me think a future world where people with abilities are enslaved, and this leads to a war.

Can I ask, though, for it to be possible that one individual could be believed to be responsible for all the damage? It doesn't matter if he or she really is, just that some people could believe it. The truth could be more complicated than that if you'd want it to be.

And another question: how many abilities should the characters have?

Yes, I agree on the one person at least believed to be the cause of it all I think the war/ensalved thing is good I guess powers get exposed somehow? Erm.. I don't know about powers - do we have two powers anywhere?

Not really, unless you count the maximum in W4 And thanks It'd be best if it was a situation like in S1, where one person seems responsible but the truth is more complicated. Or maybe something like, abilities get exposed and for a little while the response is mixed, then there's a second event which makes everyone hate them?

I'm wondering if it should be replaced now, though, or if we should wait for more RPers with possible ideas first. And wonder what we could replace it with, if we did choose to do so.

I know you did kind of a Spies world before, how about that one but with people with abilities. A world that a secret organisation to but a few who know that evolved humans exists and the life on the EHU, Evolved Human Unit, who deals with supernatural, and regular but tough cracked cases and how their lives would develop, working in that unit?

I like this idea, though it is a little like W9 and 10, with all the magic stuff and such, but..

In the world of Aelyn, everything is imbued with magic and mysticism. However, when a tyrant with a name that Neo hasn't made yet but that is very terrifying, is rising, trying to forbid the laws of magic, who will represent the side of magic and what is luring in the shadows, just waiting to fullfil their own twisted plans?

Like a combination of the many species/innate magic or powers of those worlds, and the idea of being persecuted or hunted? Tbh, W9 might actually need something like that. It's a little drifty since Sin vanished - she was the mod, and was RPing the worldwide general SL

Yeah, the tyrant who I still haven't got a name for, would start doing this in some places to try and widen his grasp slowly. But how do you mean putting a stop to it?

But then the question would be who would roleplay the tyrant. It has been a long time since I played a villain and I think it could be fun, if you guys would want me to roleplay him, of course. Or if you have any other ideas we could discuss them here.

As in stop it happening Most of my characters live (or belong, anyway) in a society where magic is about as innate as breathing. It'd be unthinkable for anyone to try passing such laws there. None of the city's citizens would even consider the idea unless they were chronically insane. And Pippy has characters who are angels, so they're obviously powerful too.

I'm not sure about who'd control the tyrant. If he becomes really really powerful and a big character, maybe he could even be an open character and free to anyone?
