nah, they go in the sea which has this weird flurescent colour, which i think gives them their powers
but what i dnt get is how did the teleporter get his powers, unless he just happened to be in brasil as well
or maybe the weird fluroscent colour thing is not the cause of it.

its actually not that bad

the mum has a greater motabalism and can heal at an accelerated rate too- not as fast as regen though
