I tend to do that. Like for example, Lowri Nakamura has Season Manipulation - which ties up to Sky Manip from her father and Florakinesis from her mother - Healing Kiss from Ishi Snr, and Glimmering is a bit like TSM. Amber's daughter will have Reality Anchoring.
