Several more weeks passed, and life continued to go on as normal. I continued to work at the diner, returning home and occasionally going to visit my younger siblings. I'd found myself spending less time with other people, getting unnerved by the emotions I'd be seeing within them. It was like everyone seemed to have some problem, or nagging doubt, or secret hanging over them. It was mildly depressing, and I knew that if I let it, it could make me lose faith.

Throughout those days, I barely thought of Luke, and he barely thought of me, either. We didn't meet again. He, though I was of course unaware of this, was too busy preparing and finalising for Crescent Organisation's takeover, and the normal democracy we were all use to's days were numbered.

All that preparation seemed to be taking his life over. He didn't have time for anything else. He hadn't been down to his offices, campaign or legal, for weeks, and he barely realised this. His relationship with his family and so-called friends - more like neccessary hangers on, in all honesty - had deteriorated even further. And he'd barely noticed. He was consumed by their plans, the power which was his right so close to his grasp now.

It was over a week after the last time Sheldon had seen Lola, and his doorbell rang. Knowing he hadn't ordered take out, and not having any friends that stop by without giving him any notice, he wasn't sure who he was expecting as he opened the door. In front of him stood an aged man he didn't recognise.
Hi, you're.. Sheldon, right? Lola's friend? he asked, his voice filled with nerves and worry.
I am, he agreed. But who are you?
I'm Jerry Thomas, Lola's father. I need your help - I think Lola's ashamed of me.. She won't talk to me, she won't answer any of my calls, she won't even answer the door when I knock

(We're waiting for the CO's takeover. Several of their recruits have began being given abilities, including my army member, Victoria Lewis, who's gained Elementokinesis. Pippy's char, Lola, has found her estranged dad, but he's promised to help her get a job in music, which he can't)

Tyler entered the waiting room to the presidents office. This was going to be easy. After a while the receptionist turned to Tyler and said with a warm voice but with a hard undertone. "The President can take you now." Tyler stood up and entered the office. The President had a serious face expression as if Tyler had done something bad. Of course he thinks that. Almost everyone does before they understand how wonderful this plan is. After The President whos real name was unknown to Tyler, had finsihed his speech about illegal recruitment etc. etc., Tyler nodded and then he lied. "I am so sorry for the problems I have caused you, I truly am!" Tyler was not only a good persuader but also a good liar. Tyler cleared his throat and controlled it to be extra persuasive. The voice and tone had now changed completely. "But you see Mr. Presidentm you have to let this organisation continue. In fact you love the organisation and will give any resources necessary to make it the biggest one in the world." The President was quiet untill he answered with the lack of free will that happens after a persuasion. "I love Crescent Organisation and will do anything to make it the biggest one in the world."
