Plus I think most of those go in for their chance of fame. It used to be just being shown in the auditions, but now they're ridiculously being allowed to go through and into the finals, where you get some nutters voting to keep them in. And then you have those going through for their sob stories.

Even if they were that committed, they could still go down the usual road of getting a label to take them!! Or is that apparently not done anymore, and it's all shows? I doubt it. It could even be possible to do it independantly if someone had enough money to invest in it.

but a friend of mine has a band called loveable rogues and they have just been signed the usual way.
