Now all the plotholes! How did the Doctor manage to age 200 years in one season, when David Tennant didn't age ONE hundred in four seasons, it doesn't make sense to me! :/ Although once again, I swear in the Impossible Astronaut, they mentioned that the suit was the size of a child & River is definitely an adult. Also, I still refuse to believe he will die. But if River was an adult when she did it, she can definitely remember killing him, which would mean that she could easily have set it up, like told them it was the real doctor when it wasn't..

Closing Time
Oh my God! I am torn between how awesome this episode was and my annoyance at all of the plotholes! First, I shall sing all my praises Like Stormageddon, who I think is possibly the coolest person in the entire universe I shall name my first born after him, boy or girl Craig was good, again, and I liked the Doctor getting his hat, as little sense as that made.. Stetsons are cool Can't wait for the Season finale, which I hope will kick some serious ass I saw dinosaurs, daleks, eyepatch woman, river as eyepatch woman and so much else! But no Amy, so.. Also, next week's is called The Wedding of River Song for some reason Maybe her and the Doctor get married underwater

Re: Closing Time
It was cool Really liked Craig and Alfie/Stormageddon. Cool name
And next week's Looks chaotic, really good. But yeah, I'm suspecting River will find some way to save him, leaving most of the world to think she really killed him. Maybe even done to stop there being another attempt.
And I've no idea about the aging! Unless he did lie.

Re: Closing Time
I don't think he lied, cos he had done everything in that book, meaning that in between ditching the Ponds and stopping by and seeing Craig, he did everything left to do in his life
Yeah, she will save him I was thinking that if she was an adult when she did it, she can remember it, and she could have lied to Amy & Rory to fuck with them, and he could not have actually died.

Re: Closing Time
Would she really be that mean? No, I'm sticking by my guess, that she's been lying to the entire world in order to protect future him. I hope so, anyway. And I've no idea about the aging!! Defo plothole, unfortunately.
And the title, now I notice, makes it pretty clear this is the one they marry in. Unless it's a red herring. Which is actually more likely. It's like how The Doctor's Daughter made us all think it'd be about some old daughter of his appearing from the past, but it was Jenny.

Re: Closing Time
Yup And we've already had one called the Doctor's Wife Yeah, I'm hoping that's why she did it
Also, I'm gonna bet the Doctor saves Melody and takes her to Amy, who may actually y'know.. be a little happy about that

Re: Closing Time
Oh yeah That one was one hell of a red herring
You mean maybe she'll smile or something? Or do something other than selfishly go launch her own perfume and become some sort of celebrity?

Re: Closing Time
i don't think he did everything in river songs book. Because river mentioned doing LOADS of things before the Doctor died and at the time that River got taken, she mentioned that she did many things with the doctor, which has not happened yet.Mrs P Sylar wrote:I don't think he lied, cos he had done everything in that book, meaning that in between ditching the Ponds and stopping by and seeing Craig, he did everything left to do in his life

Re: Closing Time
Did she? All I remember are the events she mentioned when she first appeared, which were the crash of the Byzantine, and Demon's Run. They've had both of them, now. I don't doubt there's more to come, though
And it is bizarre that an underwater wedding is now sounding awesome to me
They just did it to have her appear last week But it makes her look shallow and the world's worst mother, even more so than before, really. I really didn't like it.

I doubt she'll smile, Lowri, she just got her daughter, don't push it

It's not bizarre, that's awesome
And me neither There's no point to making her famous, except possibly just to mention that she's 'the girl who's tired of waiting' or some shit

Is it meant to mean she's tired of waiting for him to rescue Melody?

Re: Closing Time
Nah, I'm guessing it's a reference to the way Amy's always been called the Girl who waited, when really, all she did was wait 13 years or some shit. Rory waited 2000 years & she's still fucking him over.

Re: Closing Time
If it's that, then it means she's given up on having him in her life, and having adventures with him etc. Which is shit, because they're gonna be in the Christmas special at least, its confirmed. They should only do something like that when someone's stopping for good.

Re: Closing Time
I've heard a summary of the Christmas one, but by now I've forgotten it Think it's another one based on some classic story, though.

Possibly. That kinda sounds familiar.

I really hate to prove you both wrong, but Santa isn't a myth or a book. It's just some guy tryna live his life.
