I realised I never got my copy of DayBreakers back from my school before I left...
I'll never see it again

Can't you contact the school to reclaim it? Or do they not keep lost property?

It wasn't lost, I didn't realise it was an eighteen and it was taken off me (I was sixteen xD) but I completely forgot to pick it up. They moved couple months before Christmas so I'm pretty sure they would have thrown it out or one of the staff would probably have it or something (no-one at the school would be old enough for it apart from them).
I'll call them up tomorrow and see if they've still got it. If they haven't then I can get it from Amazon for like eight quid or something xD

If it was confiscated, maybe they wouldn't have to return it to you My old school would even sell mobiles if they got taken from a pupil too often.

Not that extreme I don't actually know if they did it or only threatened. Don't know if it'd have been legal or if it'd have been theft.

Yeah, but they aren't allowed to do it, making it an obvious empty threat. If they did that you have ever right to take them to court, even if it is a phone.

I don't think most school kids would know enough of the law to know it was empty They claimed that they had the right to do it cause it was in the rules Bit stupid really, infering that school rules override laws.
