Nah, not really. I wasn't particularly raised in any religion until I got to school, where they were assuming everyone was Christian. Which annoyed me a lot.

I also find it now weird how they made us all sing christian hymns, at the time I didn't even realise. I feel almost brainwashed.

Hymns and prayers and services in the assemblies It annoyed me no end. If you follow a different religion or your family are really athiest, you can get them to ask for you to be omitted from the assemblies, but you can't do that if it's just you.

My family aren't very religious and I'm not religious at all. I just enjoyed joining in. but now I look back on it, it is seriously strange.

It's just assuming really. But I was thinking that mine was just like that cause it was a Welsh medium school in a small town

my high school is a community school, and the majority of the pupils were asians which would of been hilarious if they made us do christian hymns when most are sikhs or hindus

I'm private, so we only stopped having to say the Lord's prayer at the end of each assembly like two years ago
