    DNA Mimicry Empty DNA Mimicry

Currently this has only been shown being the individual's only ability and mimicking every power the mimicked person has. Could another variant of it mimic appearance plus one power, letting the individual then possess extra powers too (like another 2 in W2)? Or even being like Ceri's Identity Theft in W2.5 - either mimicking one power or all, but blocking the use of her other powers when she chooses all?

I guess it's up to you, but the way I saw it, is that like in world 2, all three abilities is in the DNA and the use wouldn't have a choice whether to pick one and therefore gains them all. Unless its selective dna mimicry.

In all honesty, Identity Theft only worked that way with Ceri because I'd given it to her without thinking, before realising it'd give her the person's abilities too Laughing But there'd be a lot more than just appearance and abilities in the DNA - pretty much everything which makes a person - so your claim that you couldn't pick and choose doesn't exactly fit. You'd be picking and choosing just by only mimicking those 2.

i guess i hadn't given much thought to what else would of be gained. Although I could just add whatever else they would gain but just haven't rped it.

Everything about the person apart from environmental factors? Wink And then it'd be the same as Genetic Mimicry, in a way, except that Taylor picks and chooses what he copies.

Actually, what would be the difference between dna mimicry and genetic mimicry? :/

Currently, DNA Mimicry copies appearance and abilities, while GM copies other things like genetic health, hereditary skills and traits too.

I wouldn't add anything extra. It's meant to just be mimicking those 2 from the DNA. Not like he actually turns into the person from the genetics.

Can't remember why I was asking this now, was I thinking of giving it to a character in one of the other ways I mentioned in the first post? Laughing
