Re: Whoopsie
You can make them from downloads but if you want a decent quality, waiting for the DVDs is better.

I was pretty happy because it was going to be quite embarrassing otherwise. And mum was telling me how Emma got those ear cleaning things stuck in her ear once and she waited til the end to tell me Emma was 3 at the time to make me feel bad

Ear cleaning things? Do you mean like a cotton bud, or some technical ear cleaning device I've never heard of?

I'm sad because I just read a lot of Connor hate and somewhere along my rewatch I've really started to love Connor

Aww It's weird, I kinda like and hate him at the same time... he's a cool character. Mainly cause he's so complicated and messed up. But some people feel they have to hate a character if he or she hates their fav, or a main character

Re: Whoopsie
No, I agree I can see how he gets annoying sometimes and makes awful decisions like trapping his father at the bottom of the sea, I'm not gonna support that. But I just really love him, and it's not like he doesn't normally have reasons for his actions - like all the shit with Jasmine & Cordelia, he was kinda in love with her and being manipulated, and he was raised in a fucking hell dimension and people don't seem to think about how much that fucks a person up.. But it's mostly his relationship with Angel that I love - as kinda one sided as it is, I love how much Angel loves him, and how he would literally do anything for his son and that scene at the end of season 4 when Connor's toasting his happy normal family and Angel is watching from the outside, it broke me when I rewatched it..
Yeah, it was good Pretty lowkey, but he got a jacket from mum&dad, a ridiculous amount of money from Nana - working on claiming it somehow - and I got him Dean's amulet and the Evenstar necklace and it was hard not to steal them

Re: Whoopsie
Yeah, the defence for the Jasmine/Cordy thing is basically "he was an 18 year old"
That was beautiful One of my fav things about Angel really, him being willing to sacrifice for those he loves. That's why I really hate it when I see some people referring to that decision and the IABD one as selfish/screwing with people's minds. I stopped visiting this Buffy forum I found because of it.
Cool presents How's the stealing planning going?

Re: Whoopsie
"He was eighteen & Charisma Carpenter made a move on him, like if that doesn't justify all of it, I don't know"
No, I agree completely. Angel's so bloody selfless and I don't know he's just a true hero and I get really sad thinking about all the things he did for people he loved and he so rarely got anything in return. And sometimes, Angel's just adorable like really..
Not too well, but I'm gonna get there. I mean, I literally gave him immortality, and he's not gonna use that well but I mean, living forever would really work for me..

Re: Whoopsie
That too Apart from Fred but he didn't really have a shot with her, what with her being busy dating Gunn and having extortionately large amounts of sexual tension with Wes..
He did appreciate it, though It's something we were gonna get when we found it in a shop in France when we were about nine and we didn't have the money so I thought it was pretty good when I saw it

Re: Whoopsie
Fred did seem to be briefly potentially paired with almost every male character....
I saw a copy of the Anduril sword in a shop in Spain (I think ). Really wanted to buy it

And yet somehow she made it work. Like the only main male character I didn't ship her with was Connor!
Oh my God I have a dream that is just owning that sword. And then.. just wow, how could you resist? Well, transporting the sword back would be hard but still!

Re: Whoopsie
Her crush on Angel was so cute, mainly cause I could really empathise with her Plus "handsome man saved me from the monsters" is adorable. Adorable and heartbreaking Speaking of Fred, how's Fred the Kitten?
I resisted, cause my family were there. None of us ever buy film memorabilia or anything like that, and we're also pretty anti-weapons and fake weapons.

Re: Whoopsie
It was adorable, and "handsome man saved me from the monsters" gets so much sadder when she says in Hole in the World Freddie's doing fine. Nearly 7 months now and she's giant. Plus she's adorable and loves me, so a lot like Fred. We're actually watching Angel right now
You see if I could afford to, I'd probably buy nothing but film memorabilia - apart from when I'd be buying TV memorabilia... I can see the anti-weapon point though.

Re: Whoopsie
That's the heartbreaking part Good to hear, and cute I think I'm gonna have to end up buying Angel S1 and Buffy S1-3, more if I can afford/can find cheaply. Add it to the list of stuff I now want to buy....
See, it's weird - half my brain is practically pacifistic, and yet I love swordfighting in films and books, and resistance type things (I have this crazy fantasy of wanting to run off and live in something like the WA from Forbidden, or the world Nick lives in in my last story Forget the practicalities...)

Re: Whoopsie
I got the DVDs with all my birthday money & allowance as my "you didn't fuck up your gcses" present but I have a serious problem where I have to have the DVDs to things!
I don't know, obviously I'm against guns and things but on TV I love them, so I don't really know where I stand. WEll, I do, it's just fictionally speaking I love it And that sounds awesome, can I come with?
Gotta go, night xxxxxx

Re: Whoopsie
We'll both go and not get killed
They're now on my to-buy list after I finish buying the rest of The Wheel Of Times Series (currently obsessed with that, re-reading the ones I have madly while waiting for the last volume to be out in paperback, or at my library, whichever happens first). Those and Dollhouse and Alphas
