i think most of these places are just fairly stupid!

They were really annoying me last Wednesday I was nearly late for college too cause I had to stop at my GP surgery to put in a repeat prescription request. For some reason, you can ask for completely new ones over the phone, but a repeat has to be done in person? And for some equally stupid reason I'm registered at a surgery in the other end of town.

so you have to go in person to get a repeat? That's stupid!

I think some doctors are a waste of time, if you go to them about a problem they would only try to resolve it if you keep nagging them, otherwise they will be like "well if you can live with it, you're okay."

Or "you're young, it ought to fix itself with some medicine". Nearly 2 years later....

I know it's stupid It takes too long and too much paperwork to try to register somewhere nearer though.

really? i thought its fairly simple. when i registered on campus at uni it was pretty straight forward.

I think they make it a pain to try to stop you if they don't find it necessary

college still going good?

Yeah, so far. It's early days for this year though.

is it the same course as last year but the next stage up?

Yeah, another year in it. I should have one more after this one.

Awesome. You going to be looking for internships and stuff in summer?

Probably. I didn't get much luck this summer though, but maybe it'll be better next time.

What about you? Are you still on your placement at that school?

I was looking in Llanelli and Carmarthen How much of a daily commute do you think I could put up with? Moving wouldn't make sense while I'm still registered to be studying in Swansea.

I wasn't sure if it was a year long placement or a shorter one.

I sent letters and CVs to about 30 or 40 firms, I think. Can't remember the exact number.
