Pottermore Sorting
I'm curious as to what houses you lot are in according to Pottermore (provided you haven't cheated to get into the one you wanted). Are any of you on Pottermore at all? I've been on for a while but I keep forgetting about it. I'm a little behind, I think. I'm either at the end of the second book or at the beginning of the third and I think the third book is completely released now. Any guesses as to what my house is?

Re: Pottermore Sorting
I've never tried it I always believed it was just a website for details which didn't get into the books or films, but it sounds more interactive than that.

Awww go on go on go on! I want to see what you are. No guesses as to mine?
It is a website with details not in the books or films but you move through the story chapter by chapter, interacting with the scene and collecting stuff. There's sound effects too. You unlock information and gain house points once sorted. You can do spells and potions. There's a house cup championship to compete in. You can't choose your own username and you can't really chat to others except through comments on pages but it's like that for the safety of the children. I'm mainly there to hoover up the extra tidbits of information about the world to add to the vision in my head. I would help my house in the house cup championship more if I had time.
I'm not sure if we'll be able to find out our Patronus (well one assigned to us by a quiz) sometime in the third book because I haven't done it yet. Probably not. Then again, we did find out our wand when Harry did and our House when Harry did.

Hufflepuff, and I mean that with no offence whatever. I don't get the bad rap that house gets - it's the best, really, by my judgement.
It sounds cool

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO CONGRATULATIONS! Got it in one. I am a proud Puff. :3 We are the most undervalued but probably the best. We're pretty awesome. Plus our common room and dorms are the nearest to the kitchens and they look like hobbit homes. If you ever go on it, let me know. I'd like to know how you'd be sorted and we could duel or something.

Re: Pottermore Sorting
I'd imagine Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff myself. Can't really say Griffindor - how can someone know if they're brave before being in real danger, anyway? I'm definitely not Slytherin.

I like to think Hufflepuffs and Ravenclaws are all buddies and tsk and roll their eyes as the other two houses fight.

I can imagine the actual founders doing that And rolling their eyes and muttering "Men..."

Lol I'd have them do that if I was in a founders era HP roleplay.

I wish I'd have been able to start and keep up to the HP roleplays I'd joined on another site.

Sometimes I miss the one we had here. But then anything which follows a canon too closely tends to die.

Re: Pottermore Sorting
Ages ago. It started in year 1 (Philosopher's Stone year) then we decided to leap forwards to the events of book 5. It lasted to about the end of that book.

Re: Pottermore Sorting
I haven't read that one for a while I don't think you were. Pippy was the one with a sensible character - or she was til Caitlin got mind controlled.

Re: Pottermore Sorting
Imperious Curse, I think. She got controlled into thinking that she was a Death Eater after seeing something she shouldn't have. I think it may have been related to Josh's yoyoing teacher possible-Death-Eater-possible-Snapelike-spy character.

Re: Pottermore Sorting
Do you mean he taught yoyoing or that he changed sides often?

Re: Pottermore Sorting
No, he yoyoed sides He was Josh's character, that explains it
Caitlin's mind control was annoying, she was my character's only friend who wasn't a canon

Re: Pottermore Sorting
He should've taught yoyoing too. "For the lulz".
Aw sorry about that on the character's behalf.
