heliokinesis/solar manipulation
or a new ability in heroes- the guy is able to radiate heat, light, electromagnetism only when absorbing energy from the sun. He also showed to be able to fly too. Solar Energy Absorption, transference and redirection???

I prefer the new Sylar one - it looks more active. This one has a bit of the same problem as the gif of the old still. You don't actually see the character getting up/surviving.

You could use both. And Sun Mimicry/Solar Mimicry too.
Is this one of the twins able to stop solar flares you mentioned in the Chat thread?
