Predators

The rebooted francise is out in cinema's on July 8th/9th it has been confirmed the UK certificate is going to be a 15. Just to let you all know.

Its an 18 now.

going tommorow anyway just checked AMC show times it's deffinately a 15 but at least they can still get the blood, gore, swearing and everything else it's famous for into it.

Saw it at 12 on Thurs it was amazing some of the best stuff I've seen hands down beats all AVP's and Pred 2. The Pred VS Pred fight scene was awesome and Adrian Brody's character Royce is great.

Brother said it was good but lacked a plot.

I thought they didn't really develop who the char were that well I mean some people were saying that they spent to long on character development but I was like what you don't really get to know most of the chars unless you read their backstories. The plot is just very simple it's basically a group of the most dangerous killers on Earth are abducted and dropped into a planet used as a game reserve where the Predators hunt different creatures for sport. Their are two different clans hunting in a blood feud the "Black" Predators much darker in appearence and physically stronger and more aggressive the other Predators are the Classic ones, which we're pretty used to now. So basically follows these killers and how they are trying to survive on a planet where they are now prey. The title Predators is meant to have a duel meaning where the Predators are the aliens hunting the humans but the humans are Predators of there own species and many tactics the Predators use are recognised by members of the group who have themselves used the same tactics to kill. the killers and their backstories are:

Cuchillo - A Drug enforcer fresh from the drug Cartel wars.
Mombasa - A Death Squad soldier from Siera Leone West Africa.
Noland - A Ex US army SEAL soldier who has been surviving on the planet for ten years.
Nikolai - A Russian VDV spetsnaz war hero fresh from the battle of Chechnya. He is responcible for killing the Flusher Predator and carries a handheld minigun and pistol.
Stans A deadly death row inmate supposed to be days away from execution at San Quentin State Penitentiary California suspected of the murder of 38 people and was formerly 3rd on the FBI's most wanted list.
Hanzo A Yakuza assassin who rarely speeks as talking cost him two of his fingers. He uses a Samurai Katana found at Noland's hideout before this he wields a hand held gun. He believes the planet is hell and that he deserves to be here. He is responcible for killing the Falconer Predator.
Edwin - A disgraced Physician and serial Killer at first he seems to be the only member of the group who has not been named a killer. He is also on the FBI's most wanted and seems to like the planet and wants to hunt alongside the Predators.
Isabelle - A CIA black ops sniper who earned her skill training in the IDF (Israeli Defense Forces). She survives on the planet.
Royce - A stone Cold mercenary who takes charge of the group of humans dropped on the planet to be hunted. He seems to have no emotion for humanity and enjoys killing untill he meets Isabelle where for the first time he feels compasion for her. He gains help from a classic Predator so it will help him fly home but the classic Predator was captured by the "Black" predators and hung on a monolith in there camp to start with before Royce freed it and as it arms itself the Beserker Predator appears and engages it. The Beserker aka Mr Black comes out victor and beheads the Classic Predator. Royce is seemingly killed when the Pred ship he was going to commandeer is blown up but instead he returned to the camp using mud to cover his heat signature and fire to confuse the Beserker's vision modes. Royce eventually bests the Beserker and in turn beheads it. He survives alongside Isabelle and as they watch new creatures being dropped in they decide to look for a way off the planet.
The Predators are:
Mr Black/Beserker Predator - A giant Predator with red war paint and partially red dreadlocks, he is the leader of the three Predators from the "Black" clan and the most vicious. He wears a mask with a jaw bone on it. He is later slain by Royce by being beheaded.
Falconer/Tracker Predator - A Predator hunting alongside the other two from the "Black" clan. He controls Predator Falcon drones used for spying and observing the prey. He also controls the Predator hounds that are used to test the humans reactions to being attacked. He is slain by Hanzo using the Katana.
Flusher Predator - A giant Predator part of the "Black" clan he has two tusks on his helmet and is the first to be alerted to the humans presence and Nolands hideout. He slays Noland and fataly wounds Nikolai. Nikolai then uses fire grenades to blow himself and the Predator apart.
Classic Predator - The last survivor of the recent blood feud between the new three "Black" Predators and three "Classic" Predators that were hunting the humans. As it is the last of it's clans hunting party it has being captured and tied to a giant monolith instead of being killed. It later decides to help Royce get off the planet but after arming itself it is engaged in a savage fight with the Beserker Predator. After loosingg the Beserker Predator beheads it.
