Re: First Trailer
Im basically gonna give you my comparrison of each film and its corresponding book:
Philosophers Stone - Stayed fairly close to the original plot build up in a way you would imagine it to.
Chamber of Secrets - Again similar to the first stayed fairly true to the book.
Prisoner of Azkaban - Change of director gave a darker theme to the series not a bad thing but the book gripped my attention more so.
Goblet of Fire - My second fav book after Deathly Hallows the film version was not so bad but it could have been better although Mad Eye's Character intro and development was good even if he was Bartamius Crouch Junior drinking polyjuice potion.
Order of the Phoenix - Not bad but so much was left out of the film.
Half Blood Prince - Terrible film for a good book started off well only to leave out most of the main ending events such as the death eater vs Hogwarts teachers and the Order battle where Bill Weasley is injured by Fenrir Greyback and Dumbledore's funeral which is a crucial part of book seven when Voldemort breaks into his tomb to steal the elder wand.
Deathly Hallows Part 1 - It was a good film although I remember thinking that during the first 20 -30 mins that anyone who had not read the books would not have any idea what the hell was going on.
Lets hope Part 2 lives up to expectation.
