Was Josh (Joshua E Huston/Daniel Huston/Joshua Evans Jnr) really related to the Lindermans or not? It's confusing me

Also, what exactly were his abilities? Because he seems to have displayed 4 (terrakinesis, empathy, poison emission, dimension creation). Did he lose one sometime, and how did that happen?

Sorry In W2? He wasn't related to the Lindermans, he was the son of Millie and Josh (Snr) Houston, I think? And I could never remember his abilities, they changed all the time - at one point he definitely had ability absorption but that changed from four normal ones and then changed again and.. I don't know.

Wasn't it in W1 that he had Ability Absorption? He was an old guy there, looking into his daughter's murder which Liz had witnessed, but then he left

I thought Josh Snr was meant to be Linderman's brother, though. Or nephew. I can't remember But there was a different SL about him really being the son of a Carnie named Katherine and Joseph, and I'm not sure which of them ended up being the final truth.

Nah, he wasn't related to Joseph and Katharine, I think they were friends from when he ran away to the carnival originally or something? The ages were too far off for that - actually, you're right, his dad was Linderman's brother, making him Linderman's nephew.. meaning I dated my cousin.

I think that's why he tried retconning it The incest was creeping him out even in an alternate timeline But they did claim to be his parents at one time? Actually, I think he finally found out that Katherine had been his birth mom, but Josh Snr was his dad and when he was 6 Josh and Millie basically stole him?

Actually, that does sound familiar But I've still dated my cousin.. and I was pregnant with my cousin's baby. That's.. that's great.

It's brilliant But it was in an alternate timeline/alternate world, so it's half ok

I think I might have worked out Josh Huston's abilities:

• He originally had Terrakinesis and Poison Emission, and he used the poison on himself to stop him from losing control or becoming like Samuel. Lydia also somehow passed her Empathy on to him as she died.
  
• After Samuel was killed, he asked Abbie to delete Terrakinesis from him, but to keep the Empathy since it was special to him. I'm guessing he'd also have lost the PE since it'd be useless then. And she gave him RM in replacement.
  
• And then apparently he asked her to change them again, for no apparent reason, to Replication/Cloning, Memory Projection and Healing
  
• Years later, he reappeared and apparently he'd gotten the dimension one from an eclipse - he said the eclipse had changed his abilities?

Half ok?! Think he was my cousin in both worlds

Yeah, your adoption was only revealed once you were with Gabes, cause Angela was scared basically But wasn't that when Josh started saying that Millie and Josh Snr weren't his parents? He went back and chose a halfway point later.
