Yeah you'd think. I dunno whose dog it was though, it could have been someone elses who ran away. there are hundreds of staffys round here.
Im at nans, and its busy, but theyre more of back streets and theyres roadworks nearby limiting the access, but all animals round here learn how to cope with the roads.

my auntie's dog, Skye- she just runs outside, but only runs out onto the road if you through her ball or call her. But she always comes back when you call her. But our road is not busy.

Mylo knows not to run out, but when we go for walks and we get to the road, if i say "wait" he waits, and then cross and he can run over.
i walk him to and from the park with no lead on most days

i have to put skye on the lead if there are other dogs. She goes for all over them. She had a fight with the neighbours dog and apparently (according to my brother) she beat him up. and that dog is like twice the size as her, maybe three times bigger
