Re: Alphas
About these people who get abilities, and get recruited to use them in crime detection/crimefighting, I think. I've only heard about it from Rajan's talk

Re: Alphas
Doesn't sound bad I read it wrong and thought it was a Charmed spin off about the avatars at first

I don't think there was enough there to make a spinoff And I've gotten distracted in making another poster.

Re: Alphas
Gary is so funny and cute Think that's the first time I've ever seen a programme portraying someone with a learning distability/mental disability. And it's really good. Love the end, even though I can't fully wrap my brain around it

Re: Alphas
well Dr.Rosen's daughter knows Stanton Parish, so she's basically a red flag agent too. But Dr. Rosen doesn't know.
Did you like the episode with Skylar?
i also liked the ability of the guy who escaped. It's similar to Cameron's but he can see cause and effect.

Re: Alphas
Yeah, I got that part. It was working out why Parish wanted it revealed, but still wanted the other faction - which seemingly agreed - killed or captured. Or was he just sacrificing them to further his plan?
She was cool. And her daughter was cute. If frightening
That was cool A bit like a form of Outcome Manip or Probability Manip? Cause he sometimes altered the cause/effect relationships, didn't he? And it was more like they added the reverse to Cameron's ability, just for that episode. Never saw him doing it again.

Re: Alphas
Well i think he was sacrificing them people so it looked like that the people were the villains, for actually killing them, as the group of alphas just saw it was an attack by the humans. I was sad when Anna died
Im not too sure why he was happy when the secret was revealed, although he sounded surprised a bit, but he might just think of it as a game. like when he said something like "this changes things up a bit".
yeah, i liked how he just flicked a coin and caused a car crash

Re: Alphas
I thought it sounded more like that's what he'd been manipulating for the whole time..... maybe I misinterpreted though. I'll rewatch to check And I was just wondering if there was another second reason, or a reason why those particular members were chosen. Like maybe he thought Anna was a liability because of her friendship with Gary? Or he thinks that he could tear the team apart by doing things like this..... and yeah, it was really sad. Poor Gary

Re: Alphas
I think, or im sure his ability was to see what could happen if he takes a particular action at a specific point in time. For example, befre he flicked the coin, he saw the distance between the car in front,, what will happen etc. So he just had to flick the coin at the right point in order to do it.
Nah, i dnt think it was because they are a liability. Dnt forget, they were just a select few people and some would of escaped. So those who escaped would of seen it as an attack on humans against Alphas, and not stanton Parish doing it.
Anna was awesome, i loved her power

Re: Alphas
Nah, I'm sure they mentioned at least once that he could also manipulate the events. It'd have been too much of a coincidence that one small detail could always landslide like they did, consistantly.
I didn't notice any escaping Who did?! Or was it just nameless faces?

Re: Alphas
if he did manipulate the events, then what will be the point in throwing the coin?
Maybe some did, im just guessing. Well i guess some will escape, like the one who got past Cameron.
And remember on the map that showed how many alphas there are.

Re: Alphas
He needed to throw the coin to set it all off. The manipulation would be to ensure it'd all flow right.
Wasn't that how many Red Flag members existed, not just the number of Alphas? It was a huge number, anyway. And that was just in America!!
Do you have any idea if there'll be a second season?

It'd be too much of a coincidence otherwise, especially repetitively.
Any idea when?

Re: Alphas
nah, sorry
i read this one review from a random person of the first episode of aphas. He was complaining how stupid it was, especially when "The Ghost" told the guy to kill himself, so he went to the store (and actually paid for the bleach) and drank it. But mostly complaining how the store sold bleach in the first isle. He said "which store does that?"

Re: Alphas
A store which sells cleaning products? Any supermarket will, really. Though I was shouting at the store clerk to go knock it out of his hands, and not just keep asking why he's doing it Though I'd guess the Ghost specified a method.

Re: Alphas
Maybe drink bleach? Which would mean that the man would need to go buy bleach, if he had none at home with him. And maybe pushing needs to have some amount of specificy or it won't work.
