My abilities, opinions?

Poison Touch

The ability to poison others with a touch. One emits a poisonous substance from one's fingertips which is then absorbed by another person's skin. The dose of poison can sometimes be controlled. A small amount would sicken a person and cause them pain. A larger dose would kill.

Fearlessness

The ability to be unable to feel fear. It prevents one from being too paralysed with fear to act, and encourages courageous acts, but also encourages recklessness. A person could get himself or herself into situations he or she couldn't get out of, without realising the danger. One would obviously also be immune to Fear Manipulation and Fear Implantation. Attempts to create fear by manipulating emotions or the aura wouldn't work, and a telepath like Maury couldn't make an illusion of one's fear.

Threat Infliction

The ability to inflict threats by writing about them or drawing them onto a photo of someone. For example, if you drew blood on a photo's face, that person would die bloody. If you shot the photo, he or she would be shot. If you burned it or drew fire into it, he or she would be burned etc.

Genetic Ability Encryption

The ability to alter DNA in order to affect abilities. It can make an ability weaker or more unstable, or strengthen or stabilise an ability. It can even change what a person's abilities are, delete abilities completely or even give abilities to an NEH. Normally requires skin contact, but this limitation could be overcome when augmented.

Can you think of any new shapeshifting/appearance changing abilities? One which could use this gif?

Threat Detection And Redirection

This ability enables a person to sense threats aimed towards themselves or towards another, especially if they are protective towards that other person. The threat sense feels vague while it is just a thought, and then sharpens and intensifies when someone is about to act upon the threat. For example, a person could be thinking of shooting and then the sense would sharpen when he or she takes the gun out and aims. The ability can then be used to stop the threat and redirect it back to its source.

What'd you call that? Appearance Illusion?

The ability to drain energy and knock people unconscious with a touch. Further contact also enables one to temporarily borrow the person's ability while they're unconscious. One's hands are surrounded by a coloured sphere when absorbing energy, and a different coloured sphere when borrowing (Jake made it up for a miniseries character, but didn't name the ability)

Photograph Manipulation

This ability can manipulate photos and alter their contents. It can animate a photograph. It can place a person or object inside a photo, and it can remove a person or object from a photo, making him/her/it become real.

Not sure if this one's been suggested before or not - Agelessness

The ability to remain physically young while retaining a normal lifespan. One wouldn't physically age, and would therefore maintain health, mental and physical fitness and a youthful appearance. However, one wouldn't be immortal. One would still die at the end of a normal lifespan.

Would manipulating animals, mimicking animals and turning other people into animals and back be called Animal Manipulation (even though no one else with that ability has that much power) or something else? If something else, what could the new name be?

Weather Prediction

This ability can accurately predict future weather conditions. It can foretell when rain, winds, storms etc will occur, and can also foretell events linked to weather, e.g. when a place will be prone to flooding or when heat/lightning could cause a wildfire

Friction Removal

The ability to remove friction from a surface area. It can make a person lose their footing or grasp, and can be used to slide away and escape. Decreasing friction can also blunt a sharp edge, e.g. on a knife

Friction Amplification

The ability to increase friction. It can make an edge sharper, make air or water more difficult to move through and create sparks or fire.

Mermaid Mimicry

The ability to transform into a mermaid. One would grow a fish tail instead of legs, and would gain the ability to breathe underwater. One's senses would also adapt to aquatic conditions and one would be able to swim rapidly. At first, the tail will appear whenever one's legs are touched by water. One can later learn to control this aspect. However, breathing underwater will happen automatically to prevent oneself from drowning.
