Where did the idea that they can turn people into werepanthers with a scratch or bite come from? The only place I've seen the suggestion is in True Blood, where it failed for uncertain reasons. Neither of the werepanthers in the RP was shown doing this. Lucy even accidentally scratched Jack early on, and it had no effect - but that could have just been his werewolfness blocking it.
