Could you have a variant which would develop in stages, a bit like the different versions of the intersect - first just flashing information, then flashing skills, maybe needing sight at first but later also able to flash from a name etc? Would that just be different limits for that particular character, or a new ability?

I think it would be limits. Like writing, Luke will at first only be able to flash information but will later be able to use this ability to also flash skills etc.

I think that way of development might be cool for someone 
Also, I would be absolutely amazed if no one ended up making a character with Flashing in W12. My main suspect is Pippy
