Congratulations for what? Tannith asked, confused, but she got no answer. Liam had already left. She shook her head. Her initial guess was that it could be some strange congratulations for Charlotte's marriage, but something told her otherwise. It'd been too personal for that.

He repeated the goodbye and then left, climbing back down into the main palace. He grabbed his bags and was just about to leave when Tannith entered the hallway. He then briefly explained again why he was leaving.

He chuckled. You're new to all of this - I'm about three quarters Type 2 vampire, which means I age like that, he explained, snapping his fingers. I'm actually a bit younger than you, if you'll believe it.

Only the type 2 ones. If they're type 1 - like you - then they don't age at all.. And they pose a serious threat to society. Also, I've heard somewhere that half-human, half-type 1 babies are okay..

And the second you mentioned that, my throat started feeling burny, she commented, laughing. What do we do... about... feeding? Tannith said it was illegal to kill, and that I'd turn any human if I bit one because of the venom....

I don't know, he chuckled, breezily, grabbing the AB Negative - the rarest were the best, in his opinion. I'll take you hunting sometime, if you want. It's what we normally do, but we only hunt animals.

She began running after him, and soon found herself laughing in exhiliration at the sheer speed. This was brilliant! It was so fun, she found herself almost forgetting the burning thirst in her throat, for a while at least.

She caught the same scent, and her throat instantly flared up. She was pouncing before she even knew it. Her teeth tore through the poor defenceless creature, without a chance, she didn't even register what it'd even been. The blood poured down her throat and was drained far too soon.
