Oh my God I actually really liked it, a bit slow at parts and the bloody American adverts didn't help but it was sooo good and it was more relevant to the story than most christmas ones and no more annoying Amy Pond and yes I love Clara Oswin or whatever she's amazing and i can't wait to see the rest of the season

Re: The Snowmen
I really liked it too Oswin is great. I had to resist jumping up and down and screaming when they finally revealed it was her That kinda confused me. I thought this new girl would be a companion, and I was thinking "isn't it meant to be Oswin now?", then I totally fell for her fake death, and then The snow idea was much better in reality than it seemed in the trailers, too Does anyone else think the Great Intelligence (whatever it is ) might be linked to what Oswin becomes and how she lives still? Like maybe it managed to copy her perfectly as she died the first time? The zoom into her final tear had to be for a reason

Re: The Snowmen
Steven Moffat said that he was going to stop making overly complex plots so that people would become more interested in it again I think he kind of failed with this by killing off Oswin for a second time.

Re: The Snowmen
True I kinda like the complex plots though, so I don't mind - for me they're another reason to watch because they make me want to know their answer. Guess it is going away from the original idea of a programme for families, though.

Re: The Snowmen
Yeah I never thought I'd be saying bring back Russel T Davis during Steven Moffat's reign of Doctor Who but he got the balance right with intriguing crossovers that weren't overly complicated to follow whereas Moffat seemed to excel more as a reoccuring writer "Blink" was a particular favourite of mine and so to was "Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead" with River's introduction but I did like the Snowmen plus they had Gandalf's voice
