finished second year at uni, working now on my placement year. And it is really tiring now, we had to set up all the computer systems in the new building within a few days when we were suppose to have a week to do it.

I dunno, just emotional at the moment. Ive not long started a new job, ive got a lot of pain in my ankles (more doctors next week).

One of my bestfriends is pregnant and the other just got engaged so i guess im just feeling a bit left out.
My boyfriend is just a bit ignorant to how much of a girly girl i am lol

I get what you mean. Some of my friends were engaged a few years ago. It's like you automatically get this irrational jealousy, or start thinking your life should be at that place or something. My gran's a bit annoying on that point too. Now that my cousin's engaged, she keeps asking when I'll give her an excuse to buy a hat. Not my older sister! Me!

Haha yeah Low thats always the way. Im the only hope for my family so i feel the pressure a little bit more.
Plus im a little old beyond my years which makes me worse. (As well as being impatient.)
(But it also worries me that he told me my engagement ring will be a stone he found in Afghanistan instead of a diamond, and i think hes serious)

A stone? Any more detail than that? That just makes me think of a normal rock, so maybe he's trying to make you think that/winding you up.

It's kind of funny - I'd be the opposite. I've been hung up on the idea of a blue gemstone engagement ring for years, so I'd be hoping that any theoretical soon-fiance would check that.

Nope no cousins either, my mum was an only child too, so i get it from them both.

And yes, Lowri, thats exactly what it is. A STONE, and i have actually seen it. He showed it to me on sunday.

I wouldnt mind sapphire and diamonds, but i prefer sparkly stuff
