I don't get it Random search results? What would people search for to get this place? Do people still google Heroes?

I suppose they must. Or it's something similar to the bots. It might be something tracking us so they know what ads to give us.

Bots come up listed as bots though

I get the same guests from the same locations at regular intervals on my Heroes expanded universe forum too. Either we have some people interested in Heroes but don't care enough to take part or they're just bots.

Aren't the bots that show up in the stats only search engines? It could be possible these guests are forumotion bots or staff members who check the forum for whatever reason. Maybe they have an automated checker for content that goes against their TOS or just to scan activity for ranks or advertising or something. It would explain why they repeatedly visit but never show up in the admin tools to browse anything other than the forum index.

Maybe I've never really worried about it, to be honest. It just irritates me when the location makes me think its a real member who doesn't log in - and for those, I know that Pippy for one has this place as her homepage, so she'd be a guest if she went on the internet without logging on here.

What's this sudden obsession with guests? They've always been there! I remember at once time there were 37 people watching the forum including both members and guests.

I'm not obsessed! I'm just bored and noticing things.
