X Men: Days of Future Past

Just saw it It's brilliant. Not as much of a nostalgia fest as First Class, but still great. The Sentinels were pretty creepy.

I'm kinda wondering why no one thought to go up to the politicians and say "hi, I'm a mutant from the future. There's a massive flaw in these Sentinels of yours. They don't target just mutants, they target the ancestors of mutants. Which is everybody". Apart from the anti-climax

I was a little teary eyed at the end Just seeing everyone safe and fine. And all the bromance *heart <3*

I'm a little confused about the original timeline though. Logan remembered Jean's death as in X3, and his reaction to seeing Scott suggested Scott had died too. But Charles was alive in the future?

yeah it is great!

i don't think they would of believed if he was from the future. Most of them were relatively knew to the concept of mutants let alone time travel, but i suppose you make a valid point.

yeah i dont get it either. i really dnt think that they meant to kill charles off unless logan wasn't as shocked that the professor was alive at all/was in shock that jean was alive or forgot about the professor.

I know, I'm just surprised none of the characters considered it Maybe it's just too obvious. It'd have been funny to try.

In other words, they're retconning what they want to rewrite, and you're not meant to question it all all?

they did mess up last stand perfectly tho

Like the guide of how to mess up Perfect rewrite I remember TJ mentioning ages ago a rumour that they were gonna do that, I didn't get how at the time but I do now And I like it. I think most fans hate Last Stand - and its melodramatic name

And did the Sentinels really make you think of Ability Adaptation?

they were pretty awesome. But blink could of just easily teleported/portaled away if she wanted to.

I guess she didn't want to abandon the others. And they were buying time for their plan to work. They eventually corralled her to prevent her using her teleportation against them, didn't they?

suppose she could of just made a teleporation thing behind her. but i suppose they were pretty impossible to defeat.

No I never have patience for those, I just watch them when I get the DVD, if I remember What was it?

it was some guy (Apocalypse) creating pyramids in ancient egypt, moving large slabs of stones with his mind.

What does the melodramatically named Apocalypse do?

well they dont tell you his name in the clip, its just him moving rocks for pyramids, i just know its him

well he basically wants to destroy everything and is uber powerful.

So basically he's a typical villain?

How did you ID him then? Know the actor? Or had you heard he'd be there?

i just knew. because it was in ancient egypt and he was moving stuff around. ive read some comics before and just know general shizz

i dnt really know. i think he manipulates energy and stuff. because he can just do loads of things.

i think thats what he does anyway, i know he is immortal too

Hence being alive when the Pyramids were built

he was born in that era i believe but i suppose in the new upcoming x men he will be alive in the generation of the current x men
