Re: My abilities, opinions?
I'm not sure. Possibly the person inserting the ability could choose what ability, or it'd be affected by the circumstances when it gets manifested. The person who's given the ability definitely won't.
I'm thinking it could have been what was used to give Dani Poison Absorption/Poison Manip ages ago (aka when Jake's character suddenly manifested Poison Emission so I made Dani manifest Poison Emission to counter it, but then I thought PE was too boring and limited so I totally retconned it).

Wayward Daughter wrote:The ability to temporarily mimic another power, if it has been used on oneself. At first, the ability will automatically mimic any relevant ability. This will mean that one cannot control what power one has. Later, one will develop the capacity to sense when a power is being used on oneself, even if it's something like a vision showing oneself, and block it at will.
What do you think this'd be called? It's just Ability Mimicry on Charmed, but that's already used on another ability with us

I don't want another version of AM though And it wouldn't really make sense why that'd just be a variant of AM while other abilities, e.g. Visual Ability Mimicry or Ability Replication or Empathic Linked Ability Replication, count as fully different abilities.

Cool idea Like growing a new arm while the cut-off arm grows a new body? Maybe just Regenerative Cloning?

yeah, i suppose... maybe.... Reactive Ability Mimicry?
regenerative cloning sounds good. but the weird thing is, when the clone is killed it turns to like an ashy frost dust

Re: My abilities, opinions?
there's another ability in heroes reborn- without a name but the guy transform people to digital matter (basically puts people in a virtual game) and can create characters in a game and construct them into real matter (uses a character from a game and makes her real)

Possibly. I guess it does react or adapt to the ability used against it. Adaptive Ability Mimicry?
Most forms of clones seem to vanish when they die. Eli's did.

Re: My abilities, opinions?
doesnt alter reality, just (from what we've seen) puts people in a game and puts people from a game into real life. But the game he created did interact/interlink with places in the real world.

Doesn't making the game people real and vice versa alter reality in a way?

Re: My abilities, opinions?
What do you think of the Game-based Creation name suggestion? Though I guess it does more than create..... Game-based Leaping or Game-based Jumping? Though that'd suggest just jumping/leaping into the games yourself. It's kind of a mix of both

Re: My abilities, opinions?
The second one would be good. Game Manipulation just sounds like he'd manipulate the game itself.
Do you think Game-based RM should then be renamed Digital RM?

i suppose, however they do manipulate reality based on game-like themes. so it is okay how it is.

Just wondering why one would be called Game-based while the other would be Digital

Wayward Daughter wrote:Ability Insertion
The ability to forcibly give a person an additional ability. The extra ability will be harder for that person to control, and if they already have their full quota of powers then the additional ability could harm them. If they haven't manifested their last natural ability yet, this effect could start when they manifest it or shortly before.
Do you think this could have also been what Angela had used to give Jack his vortex eye, in that SL of yours which revealed his true parentage? Obviously she had to have asked someone else to do it for her, since she already has her full quota in W2.
On a related note, do you think we should give Charles Deveaux Astral Projection in any world? It's another theory fans had for an ability guess before the canon one was revealed, similar to how I gave Angie Tactile Persuasion.

Vortex Eye/Vortex Sight
The ability to transform one's eye into a vortex, or to produce vortexes from one's eyes. It acts similarly to a larger vortex, sucking things in and deleting or destroying them. Probably larger objects wouldn't be sucked in though - e.g. it couldn't suck in a whole person.

Re: My abilities, opinions?
Fate Immunity
The ability to be immune to fate. It means that the ability Fate Manipulation couldn't be used on oneself, and any attempt to use the ability which would involve one's actions would have to fail. It also means that one would be immune to all forms of precognition.

Gold Manipulation
The ability to manipulate gold. It can be used to mimic gold, to turn objects and people into gold, and to manipulate existing gold objects by moving them around telekinetically. It can also melt and resolidify gold. Sometimes it can be used to create gold objects, usually small ones.
Silver Manipulation
Basically the same as Gold Manipulation but with silver.

Re: My abilities, opinions?
You said he developed it in some kind of mission, and that Angela had planted it in him as a way for him to eventually learn of his parentage, but you didn't really explain it
