Breha shrugged roughly, then winced at her own sudden movement.

What about your daughter though? she asked, knowing Allana wasn't likely to leave the infant for long, so soon after the girl's father had died.

Oh I think you should hear now. Palpatine motioned to two of the red guard to escort Maul to a cell as he screamed at the chancellor leaving Obi Wan to return to the temple.

Breha couldn't help but laugh, hearing that. She raised her head a little more, and looked around.

Where is she? she croaked out. Allana smiled.

Here, she offered, raising up the baby girl who was little more than a tiny newborn infant, fast asleep and tightly swaddled up.

Obi Wan and Anakin made their way to their starfighter to escort Senetor Amidala.

She handed the baby over to her sister, and Breha took her cautiously, glancing over every so often at Allana. She felt a little lost. She'd never been around a lot of children, didn't bond with them easily and she had no experience. But Allana didn't even notice, smiling at them dotingly.

Doesn't she make you want your own? the mother cooed. Breha forced herself not to roll her eyes.

You do remember that I can't have any possessive relationships? And being a Jedi wouldn't exactly come with maternity leave

Mar walked in and looked around quickly before wandering over to Marson and watching him fight his opponent
