She clung to him, almost dizzily, just drinking him in, her hands wandering all over him, and never wanting to stop. She kissed him again and again, unwilling to let go of Danny, to let go of her love, her husband. That might have not been official yet, but they both knew it was true.

It felt like hours had passed before she, reluctantly, let go. She looked around her, a little embarrassed now she realised they hadn't been alone.

Lola returned to her small apartment, feeling very confused. She glanced around as she threw her purse down, having expected the place to comfort her, like a home should, but it wasn't. Maybe she just wasn't thinking of it as a home, anymore. She just didn't know what was going on. From the outside, her thoughts must have seemed bizarre - struggling not to freak out over finding that she couldn't heal someone, when not being able to made so much more sense. She didn't even understand where she'd gotten the idea from. Those strange memories which couldn't possibly be memories.... but she'd been so certain. So certain, in fact, that this morning she'd had to phone her parents and sisters, just to check that they were still alive.

Her eyes kept glancing at her phone, as her instincts fought against common sense. Eventually, she dove at it, struggling not to think of how she'd explain this. But he had to remember.... he just had to. After all, she did - why wouldn't he? Why would she be different? These musings were broken when Mark answered.
