Eventually, she did let go, and began running. Soon she was nothing but a blur heading westwards. She reached LA within minutes, and then slowed down, beginning to search. She remembered now that Mark had originally lived around here, she'd learned it from his thoughts. Was that why she'd be here?

She drew to a halt, eventually, at a door and address which she again remembered from memories not her own. She raised a hand to ring the doorbell, then paused. How the hell would she explain this? She hesitated, listening, and her telepathy reflexively kicked in. The panic she could hear drove her to telekinetically force the door inside, and run inside.

Meanwhile, back in New York city, Dann paused at a door to an apartment, trying to force himself to build up the willpower to ring the doorbell. He'd come all this way..... used tracking to find this location, teleported here, and now he was just waiting. Waiting, and hesitating over whether or not it was a good idea. He knew what Elan would say if she'd ever know, and he grimaced as he once again imagined that reaction. But she'd never know. He wouldn't tell her, and she wouldn't find out. Taking a deep breath, he forced his hand upwards and he rang.

I can try.... she whispered hoarsely, kneeling beside Mark. In all honesty, she didn't have a clue, she didn't even understand what was going on, none of them did. But she had to try..... however, the second her hand touched his skin, she felt a surge of energy and they all saw a flash of white light. Horrified, she threw herself backwards.

Dann continued to wait, his anxiety growing with every second. Was he at the right place? No, he knew he was. The man came here far too often for it not to be his home, and he'd been here all day. He'd checked. But that was only half of the issue. However, he still sighed in relief when the door was answered. The man opened the door, and then just stood there, staring. Sheer shock, for once, was on the usually-ever-confident expression. Dann forced a smile.
