Charlotte just shrugged at that, used to weird things happening around her coven and family. After all, it wasn't like a little cub would be able to be a threat.

She went outside cautiously, careful to keep herself between the wolves and Lyle, since she wasn't sure if her cousin'd have enough control not to attack Lyle, not recognising him. Once she was outside, the little cub immediately bounded over to her hyperly, and began begging to be picked up.

Charlotte laughed too, getting to her feet still carrying the pup. Lyle followed her, struggling not to laugh. It was weird..... but what part of all of this wasn't weird? Everything was already so strange and crisp, and he could hear and smell things miles away. He felt like he'd probably be able to run to the other side of the world. Normality would have been weirder, here.

Just about to phrase back into human form, and return to the house, Bea noticed two other wolves - no, one other wolf and a cub. She had sensed Harrison's phasing, obviously, but that didn't explain the cub
