World 8 - Brave New World

(The investigation with the good guys, that means the bad guys have allready done the harm, right? Just wondering.)

Raven looked at his brother. "So, where are our puppets now?" He smiled with evil. "We sent the one that I gave "Seismokinesis" together with the "Telekinetic" guy, to the jewelry store, right?" He looked at his brother. "But they haven´t returned yet, so, if they don´t come soon and with the jewelry, then we will have to eliminate them. Do we have any other victims that we plan to make our puppets?" Raven knew that he should be the one in control but he had a hard time remebering things.

Kestrel shrugged.

There are plenty of people in the city, he pointed out. Any one could become a puppet.

(Will this do?)

"Great we will just take some people out of the street and then that will solve the problem. First we just have to wait for our "precious" puppets to come back, but I´m starting to get inpatient." Raven looked up when two people came rushing in the door. "Here masters." The terrified puppets that had come back from their mission, dropped the jewelry on the floor. "There you are, I just wondered when you would come. Don´t let me wait next time, you know what these can do, right?" Raven showed his hands and put them into the air. The puppets started to shake even more and nodded and with their skin more white than any ghost ever could be. "Now. I have a new mission to you two." Raven pointed at the two puppets and grinned his evil grin. "You will go back to the jewelry store and kill every agent that would possibly be there and then you will bring me their bodies. Understood?" Raven knew that he needed to spread some fear in the hearts of the company before killing them off. The puppets nodded and rushed out the door again and after them, the laughter of a sadistic villain could be heard.

(I can change so the puppets won´t attack us but I thought this way it will be more fun. But, I don´t know.)

(It's great And they can try to attack us )

The puppets nodded, their voices emotionless as they agreed. The brothers watched them leave again.

(So, should we become good guys again, untill the puppets come anyway?)

We arrived at the jewelry store, and climbed out. It'd been the scene of another robbery, again with 2 men, but these didn't seem to be the same ones. Reports of different abilities used, as well as different descriptions.

"Pretty strange to see two robberies happening in the same day and town and with many different abilities, huh? Or is it usual?" Leo didn´t know, he wasn´t such a expert on robberies.

The puppets were glad to be out of their masters sight and they started to close in on the jewelry store and began to prepare them for the fight they expected to fight when they saw some agents. They had no idea what a resistance they were about to face.

Leo felt that an attack would happen to, even if he didn´t get a vision. He didn´t know what to do except making a gigantic forcefield to strengthen the protection around the store. The forcefield shone in the colour red as in alarm and he cursed himself for warning his enemies of showing them that they were expected. He said to Rhia as the villains came closer. "They have the abilities, "Seismokinesis" and "Telekinesis". They have been given these recently." Leo got an headache and stopped focus on that and focused on fighting.


The puppets saw a read forcefield and knew that they were expected. But they had to follow their orders or they would be killed anyway. So they went in and the one with "Seismokinesis" started making vibration waves hit the forcefield, weakening it. The one with "Telekinesis started to move some cars and other things that stopped their way to the store.

Leo saw Rhia being thrown back and even if she didn´t get hurt it was better if she was protected. Leo moved the forcefield to Rhia and began to run towards the criminals with forcefield shooting out from his hands as weapons and they hit the criminals with full strength.


The puppets were thrown back by the forcefields and their rage increased. They stood up and sent Seismokinetic waves and the Telekinetic man threw the male agent in the wall with full strength. Choking him.

Leo got back on his feet and made a hand gesture to one of the criminals and thought of him, disintegrated. Leo then saw before his eyes, the power of his ability, when the one with "Seismokinesis" wasn´t more than small pieces. Leo was in shock and didn´t notice when he got thrown away again by the "Telekinetic" guy. Leo cursed when he turned to Rhia but it was too late, the remaining criminal had allready started his attack.

Leo aimed with his hand and to focus even more he snapped his fingers. The second criminal was transformed to barely dust and Leo saw how his ability had done that, he started to fear what this would do if he wasn´t careful with it.

Leo truned to Rhia with a face expression that could be compared to Rhias thoughts, Leo almost didn´t dear to touch himself after the fight. "So, how are you?" Leo looked down in the ground not to accidentally make Rhia to dust.

"I know!" Leo were shaking a bit, he had just killed two people. He finally looked up and met Rhias eyes. "That was a little unprepared, but we made it."

Don't you regret it? I asked, watching him. Yes, I'd killed before, and not regretted it. But those cases had been so different from this.

"Of course I regret it!", Leo said with strength in his voice. "Sorry, I´m not angry at you. But if I would stay here and thinking that I regret it, then it would eat my from the inside, so I just have to let it go." Leo looked down with sorrow in his eyes.

"Agreed." Leo tried to let it go and succeeded a little. He followed Rhia.
