World 7 Eclipses RP Thread

Aries was at work when the president held a awful speech. He was technically starting a war and where were his fire when he spoke. His voice was just empty. He turned the tv off and tried to work but his mind was focused on that horrible speech. People had to stop this, but how. He only made commercials and he was alone.

After work, Aries went home and turned to the internet and started posting his opinion on a forum. How awful it was, etc. etc.

(How should my char join the resistance?)

(Chance meeting? Especially if he meets Zoe too, she'll be able to tell. Maybe he can randomly walk in now)

I headed towards him, with a slight smile.

Can't believe they're all buying that, I greeted, nodding up at the screen.

After he had put out his feelings on that forum anomynous he took his coat and went on a walk. That would probably help him relax a bit. He found a bar that he entered and saw that a rerun of the presidents announcement was running. Aries decided to stay as he noticed that it was the end of the rerun so he soon wouldn't need to see the crap anymore. He ordered a beer and waited patiently untill the announcement was over.

That CO crap? he asked. I know. And this isn't the worst of it!!

This morning's announcement?

Yeah, you saw through it too?

Aries tried to focus on anything except the television and the presidents voice that told everyone how we needed to defend our own country. Bullshit!! And if that were true, from what exactly?! He then shut out the announcement and just drank his beer, focusing on all the people around him.

Wasn't that obvious? I replied scathingly. I just don't understand how there aren't huge public protests, already.

Or why the UN or someone aren't interfering, he added, as I nodded. I was looking around again, automatically scanning everyone's emotions. I was a little worried that we could have been talking too loudly. My results relieved me, however, as I noticed that the only one who could have heard seemed to agree. I mentioned this to Robert, and he gestured the blond man over.

Aries continued looking around when he saw a man waving him over. He wondered what the stranger could want and so his curiousity made him walk over. "Hi"

Hi, I smiled as he joined us. You're against Crescent Organisation too, right?

Aries was shocked over how they knew. A little unsure he nodded ans answered. "Yeah."

Aries nodded eagerly. "I'm in!"

Fighting back? Robert asked quietly. I nodded. I think it's almost our duty.

A thrill of adrenaline ran through me then, realising that we really would. We had to. I didn't even think of the risk, of a possible price. I'd been searching for some calling, and now I thought I'd found it.

(So, what's next?)

We need to plan more, Robert continued. Decide on plans, a base, security measures....

Aries agreed. "We will need a base that are not as visible as Crescent Organisation's Headquarters. Mostly because we will have to keep this secret, at least at first when we haven't got that many with us. I have keys to an big basement that isn't used. It is from our old house that got torn down, but the basement is still whole. I use it to store things. Do you have any better places that could fit for a base?"

"So, my basement is the best we got? But, I guess we could fix it inside so it gets more comfortable and more secure. At least it is secret." Aries looked at his new companions. This was really exciting.

"Do you mean that we are done for today?", Aries wondered. "We should give each other contact information so we can contact each other, right?"

Aries put it down on his cell and gave his in return to both Zoe and Robert.
