how does this sound?
A young girl has always said she can see the aura's around people. the colourdefinition of these auras becomes stronger as she gets older. She realises that the colour of your aura depends on what you have done the previous day (good deeds bad deeds etc)
She avoids those with dark auras, but when her family begins to be constantly plagued with dark auras she knows something is up. Somebody knows her secret, but she also knows theirs: one touch and she knows the events leading to that aura. When auras start disappearing, she is the only one who can find out why. How will she cope with this new threat as well as the secrets her family are hiding?
