World 7 Eclipses RP Thread

Aries soon regained his full senses after the intense kisses and kissed him back. He then got back to what he had been doing before their move of place, unbuttoning Robert's jeans.

Aries groaned as well when Robert's hands touched the released parts of his body. Impatiently he helped Robert to get rid of the Jeans before throwing himself on the bed and gesturing Robert to do the same. Being alone in the bed, jsut doing that small moment felt empty. He jsut wanted to feel Robert's hot skin against his own, the tingeling, satisfying feeling.

Aries pulled Robert closer and kissed him back with all of his own love and passion. He took his legs and wrapped them around Robert's wrists. He took his hands andd caressed them over Robert's entire body, not leaving one spot untouched.

Robert woke up the next morning and headed into work. Most of the day was normal, and easy. That lasted until the afternoon, 3:30pm, when he received an urgent, terrified phonecall from Layla Samson.

Robert? Is Jack with you? she asked at once, without a hello nor any greeting.

No.... course not. I'm at work. Shouldn't he be with you?

She shook her head, though she knew her ex wouldn't be able to see the gesture. Her voice grew even more frantic.

No - that's what I'm calling about - I went to the preschool to pick him up, and they said someone else had gotten him before....

Eric had gotten home and had told his son about his job, but the reaction hadn't been what he had expected.

"Dad, how could you take a job from them!?!" , Seth screamed when Eric told him about his new job.

Erics good mood vanished completely when he got that kind of response. "What's so wrong with them?! They seems much nicer than you are at the moment."

Those word was like knives towards Seth. Being compared to such monsters. Didn't he understand that they were slowly taking over the world.

Through the entire evening the two family members argued.

Robert paled, nearly dropping the phone. In an instant he'd understood what had happened, even though he'd never be able to explain it. Crescent had Jack. Crescent had his son. And it was all his fault.

I just don't understand how it happened, Layla continued, completely unaware of his stunned silence. I mean, the nursery have a policy about who can remove kids from their premises. They have a list. But only my name, and yours, is on it.....

Robert still remained silent, letting her babble on. It was just details, really. He could explain it, if he had the heart to, it was simply abilities, that's all. But he couldn't. The explanation didn't matter. They had his son.

Don't worry, he replied quietly, once she'd finished, at last. I'll fix this, I'll get him back.

Layla immediately began asking how, questioning what he knew and what was going on, but he didn't answer. Numbly he said goodbye to her and hung up, then went to speak with his boss. In the same numb tone, he claimed that he'd just been informed of a family emergency. It was true, in a way. He requested the afternoon free.

(*paused for Neo's reappearance*)

(*holds breathe*)

Aries took up his phone and saw that it was Robert who dialed. He answered with a happy tone, unaware of what had happened and what he was about to hear. "Hello!"

Aries? It's Robert here, I.... they've got Jack. They've got my son, he explained, his voice still in that hollow tone, like it hadn't fully sank in yet. He didn't know if he was blocking it from sinking in. Maybe he'd just end up falling apart if he did.

Aries almost dropped his phone, but didn't. Instead he tried to understand the words that Robert had said. Was it his fault? Had the organisation gotten information from their relationship somehow? Aries pushed away the thoughts of what had happened and focused on fixing it instead. After Aries had been quiet for what that had seemed like an eternity, he spoke. "Robert, we can fix this. I am here." Aries couldn't say anything else because he didn't know how they would fix it, just that they would.

We have to raid them, get him back, just somehow, he continued, almost pleading. He knew it'd be more than difficult. Crescent had been increasing their security after every raid and attack; they weren't idiots. They were calculated. Even the last raid had proved almost impossible.

Aries agreed, still empty. He wished he could say something to make it better, but he knew that the only way to make things better were to fix them. "I will be at your place as fast as I can!" Aries hang up and got some energy bars and put them in his jacket pocket, before rushing out of his apartment. He remembered clearly where Robert lived after the one time he had been there. The time when Robert had tried to collect information alone. Aries still remembered that day clearly, the fireworks and how he had felt. He couldn't even begin to wonder how this must feel. Aries ate an energy bar while he ran, increasing his rapidly dropping energy level. Breathing heavily he soon knocked hard on Robert's apartment door.

Aries went in and was acting almost like if it had been a relative from his family that had been captured, not Roberts. He tried to calm himself down and succeeded after a while.

The fear and worry streaming from Robert was palpable, as I arrived, and I doubted I'd even need my ability to sense it. It seemed almost like my own. I could feel the anxiety, the suffering, the self-blame..... I crossed over to him, hugging him, trying to give some reassurance.

We'll get him back, I promised again, my tone entirely serious.
