He threw all conscious thought to the back of his mind, and focused on the sound of the prey's heartbeat up ahead. Automatically, he moved so that he was downwind of it. He'd pounced upon the defenseless creature before it even knew it was there. He tore it down.

Mason watched Rajan catch his prey and looked ahead seeing another helpless animal. He was the ultimate predator and it had no chance of escaping. It was almost sad for the creature knowing that it will run for its life and yet after all of its energy, strength and effort it will be dead. Mason lunged forwards and bite into the neck of the antelope, it was pinned to the ground incapable of moving.

Mason drained the blood from the animal almost too quickly. His fangs sank deeper and then he withdrew, stood up and burped. He wiped his mouth smirking whilst he felt the tingling sensation of animal blood rush through his body. He felt stronger and needed more.

Even as he searched, Rajan heard Mason's burp and laughed at it. Didn't he have more control than that? The question, however, was thrown aside as he darted towards a second antelope. He let this one have some run, chasing it down and racing it.
