Re: Whoopsie
meh okay. A-, A, B+, B, C+ and D
tbh the D was expected, or i thought i was going to get even worse. so im kind of glad i only got a D wanted the C to be a B though or another A in there somewhere.

Re: Whoopsie
Those sound good Most of them, anyway. And it's good you did better than expected in the worst one. Are they all passes? Does your entire uni use lettered grades instead of numbers, or is it just this course?

Re: Whoopsie
Shouln't "Bev" or "Beverley" be one of the Shapeshifter's aliases? I'm sure Alec called him one of those. Also, I don't think Peter should be an alias. He only shapeshifted as Peter, no one called him by that name. But Nathan did probably call him Dani while he was pretending to be her, and someone did call him Mr. Calwin while he was impersonating Jack.

Re: Whoopsie
oh yeah, bev
they do use numbers but that hasnt been revealed online yet, probs will when they post the results. they are all passes, those are just the grades for each module.
but i really think the b should of been an A. i dont see what was wrong with my coursework i got 18/24 for the task but i think i should of got at least 21. My friend got 20 and even he said that mine was better than his (and i do have to agree). His wording of sentences was weird at times, I know im not the best writer but when it comes to my coursework i reread it til i think its good and well, mine should of been an A but another thing i dont get, those people who got 24/24 only got an A, no A+ or A*, therefore their GPA is lowered as an A* and A+ was unobtainable for the module.

Re: Whoopsie
Tight marker? Sometimes you do waffle a bit though. You sure you didn't do that in the coursework?
Maybe that particular piece wasn't hard or complex enough to get A+/A*.

Re: Whoopsie
i know i tend to waffle, i did that in my 5000 word essay but this one i didnt, because it was only 2500 words, i didnt have enough words to waffle
well that module was 100% coursework. for only one piece of coursework which is marked out of 24. (a bit stupid i think) so for every module the highest mark you can get is an A* but for some reason thats wasnt obtainable for this module, i have no idea why.

Re: Whoopsie
2500 is too little room to waffle?
That is weird, and stupid Did they tell you about that limitation when you chose modules? Or was it one everyone had to take?

Re: Whoopsie
everybody had to take it.
there was a lot of stuff to put in for only 2500 words.
all modules are weighted the same.

Re: Whoopsie
That's better then. It'd be worse if it was optional, it'd lower the overall grade of everyone who took it. But at least you're equal there.
What was it about?

Re: Whoopsie
usability engineering. Usability methods of an application we created. Why did we create, what was good about it, how could it be improved, why, target audience, design, style, usability of it all with references and such.

Yeah, I can see why you could answer that in 2500 words without rambling

Re: Whoopsie
but there was more to dd. like he wanted a minimum set of references for each part, as he gave an example guide but it was pretty hard to stick to it as you needed to try and expllain.

Re: Whoopsie
Minimum references makes sense though, prevents people from just making stuff up It's evidence to support. We needed to prove references for essays in uni and in my AAT coursework module - though there wasn't a set number.

Don't you just find stuff in books, articles etc and then remember the name and author?

Re: Whoopsie
for that module there isnt a lot of text books you can use in computer science, you have to look more into psychology and other things, and find journals which made it difficult.

Does your uni recommend any, or sites to search for good ones? Cardiff did.

Re: Whoopsie
they give recommended reading, but there was only a few for that module. plus he didnt want you referencing the same book too much.
