Sucks I found journal referencing really hard, a lot of them go into so much depth I didn't get half of it because it was too advanced and we hadn't began covering it all. So it was hard to understand enough of it to use it.

well the target audience for the app was hard to reference, as everyone just made their apps without doing research for why they did that type of app. so it was just pretty difficult to find references.

Did you not know about this part before you were meant to design the app then? I'd have believed it was all one piece of work. So then you'd know what you needed to consider before you did it.

well they had put the coursework up in november but nobody knew about it til march, there was even one person who didnt even know that we had coursework. So by the time we all knew about it, we had already started our apps.

yeah, it was pretty hilarious when he looked shocked and said it in the seminar.

well they put it up but didn't tell us. I think they just expected us to look online now and again for the coursework, but in the seminars we went through the techniques and things we would need to do the coursework but he never mentioned that the coursework was up.

Does anyone ever check online for work like that? Actually going to look for more work?!

we only check online if they tell us they have put the work up or we know we have coursework due which they tell us in the lectures, but he never mentioned it in the lectures. Guess he just expected us to look

its pretty hard to get a job in wolverhampton especially for people my age. I think west midlands has the highest rate of youth unemployment.

no, well tried looking for a placement but literally zilch in wolverhampton, some in birmingham. my brother has been looking for a job for a while but he just goes through an agency but there are literally ridiculous. Those people should be fired!

Weren't you just complaining about the area's unemployment level, and now you're saying some people need to be fired? I can't help but laugh at the irony there

well the agency staff. they are ridiculous, stupid, rude and useless.

I've heard they can be pretty unhelpful though.

for example, they sent my brother to lichfield today to do a 10 hour shift. he started at 6 in the morning. He already explained to them he cant travel far because he has only just got his car, never been on the motorway before and has a blackbox in his car. anyway he decided to go, he arrived to be told it was only a 2 hour shift. 

it probably cost him more in petrol to get there. so he had an argument with the person at the agency and they said they didnt know and it was miscommunication, so they paid him for four hours. they are just ridiculous.
